Busy few days

Well my new CD-RW has arrived along with my 120Gb HDD. They have been installed and hardware swapped between my machines. I will need to update my system specs on this page. The reinstallation of win2k sp3 is going well and on the plus side I have finally got win2k ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) working, [...]

The Bourne Identity

I found this to be and enjoyable spy film. An interesting plot and well cast. However it was not the best film of the genre and films such as Spy Game outshine this film. Still it wasn’t a bad film and past the time nicely. A Delta Nova Rating of 6/10

NTL Cable

NTL have been prating about with the cables again. Today I was left without net access for several hours. During this time I became quite distressed at my lack communication with the outside world and had to engage in face to face conversation with another person. This was distressing in itself and I spent the [...]

I Passed

I got my results back today and I’m pleased to say I passed. I can now go forward into my second year of Electronics and Communications Systems Engineering. I’m just so happy about it

My New Script

Over the psat few days I have been working on a little script. What it does is to take the date of your birth and then track, via a progress bar, the progression of you age between birthdays. Its not the most exciting script but at least it works(Finally). I hope to put an example [...]

My CD-RW has died

Management

I would have thought that out of all the people at Somerfield that the Deputy Manager would have an idea of who was working when. I got a phone call tonight asking where I was. The thing is I was at home as usual as I work Wednesdays.

Good News

I was watching Bargin Hunt (www.bbc.co.uk/barginhunt) and entered the competition to guess the items which made the greatest profit or loss. To my surprise I got them right. I just need to wait and see if I am picked out of those who gave the correct answers and win a prize I went to the [...]

Minor Updates

I have finished editing the calander and it now looks right and is in place. I also dropped in my custom hit counter. I will be adding a link to the source code when I build my scripts section.

Insomnia

This film sees Al Pacino as a murder detective visiting a northern town where it doesn’t get dark. He is there investigating a murder by Robbin Williams. What follows is a twisting plot to catch the killer while getting even more tired from not being able to sleep in the light conditions. An enjoyable film [...]
