Everybody has gone pie mad. If this continues I might have to add a recipe page and pie gallery.

T’was 12 o’clock and my stomach was churning
my desire for a pie was really burning,
The Greggs Pie Shop was where I had to be
for a lovely filling encased in golden pastry.

Lamb and rosemary, steak and cheese,
which one should I choose? I’ll have both please!
The aromas released as I cut through the lid,
and into my belly the pie just slid.

With some mash and gravy to wash it down,
There’s no doubt about it they’re the best pies in town!
But with more on the menu that I really must try,
I just can’t wait to eat my next pie!

Can’t find a poem about the pie. What a shame such a majestic piece of pastry deserves to be celebrated in verse.

I want to see the pie, picture as well. Wasn’t there a special pie poem to go with it?

Alas I can’t recall and I can’t find the original post, it would be useful if you could put such fascinating pictures in a seperate category.

Now I like the sound of a POV video blog feature, allbeit in the style of the popular Channel 4 sitcom “Peepshow”, except with a hidden camera, and light hearted post conversation analysis by the Tunk. OR Why not write a screenplay?

I love the Tunk of Delta-ye-Nova cos he brings us much joy,
I want to see his big belly and his little boy,
We miss his depictions of the day and his pictures of burnt pies,
but what I really want is….

forget get the poem, what I really want is to make a Trueman Show style real life documentary of his entire life following him and uploading YouTube posts of these situations he gets into. Imagine it, he opens the post that’s looking rather official and OGM!!BBQ it’s another fine from London NTCC.

Or he gets home and smells pie and just recording his lovely face when he realises what that smell is…. plus he’ll be wearing that suit which he posted on here ages ago. POST THAT PICTURE AGAIN!! PLLEEEAASSEEE
